Terms and Conditions

Swordsmen of New Zealand Ltd provides quality products. If for some reason the product is faulty, we are happy to honour our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 providing it is still in original shipped condition.


We may be required to refund your payment if your order has been:

    1. Rejected,
    2. Cancelled, or
    3. for any other reason

We will endeavour to process your refund within a timely manner. Refunds will be made via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. The time it takes for you to receive a refund will depend on how quickly your financial institution processes the refund.

We will not accept a request to return and refund a purchased item where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or have found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before confirming your order.

*  Any items marked Damaged- Seconds on Sale or Antique items are excluded

*  There is no additional surcharge applied to any orders for use of credit-cards for payment.


Cancelling an order

We may cancel any part of an order (including any orders that we have accepted) without any liability to you for that cancellation at any time if:

    1. the products in that order are not available,
    2. there is an error in the processing of your order,
    3. there is an error in the price or description on the Site for the item in that order,
    4. we reasonably believe your order has been placed in breach of items use or purpose.

If we cancel any part of an order, we will endeavour to provide you with reasonable notice of that cancellation and will not charge you for the cancelled order. We will refund the amount paid by you for any order, or part there of that was cancelled where applicable.


 Damaged Products and Returns

If you are a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, in summary:

Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (if you are a consumer) and other relevant laws.



Items are shipped from New Zealand.

All items dispatched are sent with a Track & Trace (T&T) number which is sent to the email holder on original purchase form after dispatching. All orders over $50.00 NZD T&T are signature required.

You must check any products delivered to you to determine if it is damaged, unless you have purchased an excluded item.  If a product is damaged on delivery, please notify us directly.

If you notice damage to a product after delivery, you should notify us within 7 days of delivery and clearly state the problem of concern so we can resolve it.


Supply and privacy of information

You agree to provide us with current, complete, and accurate details when asked to do so when buying from the Swordsmen of New Zealand. Information collected will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling your order, will remain the confidential and will NOT be disclosed, forwarded, passed on or sold to any other person, party, or company.



This site uses Australian Dollars.

We use a third party payment gateway to process all credit and debit card transactions. They securely store your details and we are only able to use these for the order you have placed.
