Celtic Irish Countrymen Sword

This is a Celtic Irish Countrymen Sword which is a traditional Celtic Irish basic defense sword. The blade is a rough furnace iron and is polished with hand-guard that is solid with leather wrapped hand-grip, bound in twisted wire and steel round pommel. This was the most common type for defending weapon in it period, because of its good length but was not too heavy for the common farmers or village men to use.
